Startup optimizer: How to optimize startup on a slow startup computer
Chameleon Startup Manager is a startup manager (system configuration utility replacement) that enables the full customization of startup programs, including startup order change, startup delay and much more.
If you have a slow startup computer, there are several ways to optimize startup:
Remove or temporarily disable those startup programs that are not required.
Set a startup delay for programs not required immediately after startup. This will prepare the computer ready for work faster.
Create separate Windows startup configurations (eg for the internet, games, etc), and select what should be loaded at Windows startup.
It is also possible to optimize startup by specifying the particular day(s) startup programs should be run.
The program startup order can be specified so programs are ordered and launched consecutively. If necessary, one program may be closed after another program has started.
It is possible to specify a low priority for programs with high CPU usage, which frees up resources.
It is also recommended to defragment disks.
After this a slow startup computer will start and work faster.
